View from the house after sunset

This was the view from my parents' dock in Jupiter long after sunset tonight. I guess the Dengue Fever, which I most certainly must now have, might have been worth it.  ;-) What a beautiful night!

Yellow petals

Today, the boys and I went to the new Publix in Key West, and when were checking out, I was surprised when they gave me a free bouquet of flowers as part of their grand opening!  The flowers are beautiful - they really cheer up the house.  Here is a close up of one of the yellow flowers in the bunch.  

Preening at sunset

I saw this heron late in the day by the salt marsh/mangroves near my house.  I liked his fuzzy silhouette as he was preening.  

My date for sunset tonight

I watched the sunset with this curious little Key Deer tonight.  Isn't she sweet?

Hair cut

Nothing too exciting today...just wanted to document my son's nice summer hair cut.  I had to sneak the photo while he was watching a show on tv.  He looks so handsome and grown up.... ugh.  

Lovey Story Time

My son made a circle and held Story Time for his lovies in his bedroom this afternoon.  He was actually "reading" the story (by heart) to them when I walked in.... 

Beautiful tiny yellow flower

I came across this tiny little yellow flower this morning on the side of the road. It was only the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil.
